Boarding
Your Pet
Preparation
Like any situation similar to boarding a pet (e.g. finding a sitter to care for one's child), there are some things that you will need to do prior to your pet's stay.
Dropping off a pet... Note the leash. |
If it is the first time you have boarded your pet with us, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire about your dog. This helps us to familiarize ourselves with your pet, and if we notice something unusual, the first thing we'll do is pull out the questionnaire to see if you had mentioned this situation in it. |
Some
sample questions are:
|
Checking in a pet. |
NOTICE: WHEN YOU DROP OFF YOUR PET, PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
Please do not toilet or walk your dog in the parking lot or in the grass surrounding the kennel -- they will be let into the outside area as soon as they arrive to toilet before they are led into their inside suite.
While
you're gone...
| Our kennel is climate-controlled, fully heated and air-conditioned for your pet's comfort. | |
|
We currently have 26 large indoor suites that measure to be 5' by 10' and are separated by 6 foot tall sealed brick. Our style of kennel ensures no interaction with other dogs. No nose-to-nose contact or bladder mishaps of other dogs can come in contact with yours, like you might find in a kennel designed with just a fence between each kennel. Each suite has its own drain and is sanitized daily or when the need should arise. |
Music is played 24 hours a day. This has been proven to calm dogs in unfamiliar environments. |

Your dog will be let out 3 to 4 times daily in a large (backyard-sized) area for exercise and bathroom breaks throughout the day. They are let outside by themselves for at least 15-20 minutes. The area is cleaned of any waste before the next dog is let out.
All of our outside areas are double fenced to avoid any nose-to-nose contact with other dogs and also for extra protection to keep your pet in the area in which they are supposed to stay.
Dogs are fed up to 2 times a day per the owner's request. You may bring food from home that your pet is accustomed to or we can feed them. We serve dogs Purina Dog Chow. We suggest that if your dog(s) isn't/aren't currently fed the brand we carry that you do bring your own food to prevent changes in their digestive system during their stay. If you do bring your own food, bring enough for their stay plus 1 extra serving, we will put it into containers at the facility that are labeled with you and your pet's name. You are also welcome to bring treats that your dog likes. |
|
|
We also offer Personal Pet Time (PPT) for the pets that are in our care. This special time with your pet may consist of a walk, playing, fetching, or an extra time outside per day. PPT is a very good way for your pet to adjust to being boarded. They build a one-on-one bond with the care giver, using the personal special time that is shared. |
If your dog is housebroken, you may bring a blanket or some type of bedding they enjoy as well as up to 3 of their favorite toys.
As seen on the picture at the right and below, the dogs here are provided stainless steel bowls during their stay, which means that there is no need for you to bring water and food dishes.
|
Also, all pets must be on leashes when they are brought here for boarding. |
And although this hasn't been covered extensively at this site,
Cats are welcome, too!

|
We have a separate area for cat boarding. They are kept in a deluxe, multi-layer suite.
